Over the last few years I have found myself being asked to give talks at different places around the country. The idea of the talks are firstly to give people good news in 'they can achive', or 'you can do' and secondly to relate mine and my families experiences in what was good and usually bad about my hospital stay and my rehabilition.
A
lot of talks have been given with my Mother. Therfore we can give both
aspects of life since the accident i.e. the patients view, and the carers
perspective.
They
are done using a powerpoint presentation, and me and my Mum should be
available
to give talks wherever
